LDG Consulting Selected as Owner’s Representative for Construction of Mercy Park

February 2017 | Chamblee, GA

LDG Consulting was selected this month as the Owner’s Representative during the construction phase of the Senior Residences at Mercy Park – a 79-unit affordable housing development located in Chamblee, Georgia. This project is an impressive partnership of community commitment and love between Mercy Care and Mercy Housing Southeast – one of the largest affordable housing organizations in the US founded in the 80s by the Sisters of Mercy and located in Denver, CO. Mercy Care will ultimately provide a LEED SILVER health care facility right next door to this senior housing project. Situated on a 1.6-acre site in northeast Greater Atlanta, this four-story multi-family development will ensure that those 62 and older who are of low-income, disabled and / or veterans have an outstanding place to live with the best of medicinal care at their fingertips.

As the Owner’s Representative for the construction of Mercy Park, LDG Consulting will serve as an extension of Mercy Housing Southeast’s staff, providing critical guidance throughout the lifecycle of the project and protecting their interests at all times. “One of our main services we provide as an Owner’s Representative,” says Alrich Lynch, Partner and Senior Managing Director at LDG Consulting, “is to ensure that construction contracts are being executed properly, on time and on budget. We are honored to have been entrusted with this responsibility for Mercy Park.”
