MEET ALRICH LYNCH

Alrich Lynch

Alrich Lynch has over twenty-five years’ experience in numerous aspects of the real estate, development, construction, property management, and asset management arenas. His varied background has afforded him the ability to smoothly transition between various industry verticals, complex engagements, and uniquely different organizations.

His proven track record throughout diverse roles involved nearly $1.2B of projects, including over $583MM in public-private ventures. Having been involved with all aspects of the development life cycle for over 8,715 units; including condominiums, market rate apartments, mixed-income apartments, and units in mixed-use developments; brings a wealth of knowledge rarely found in the industry.

 

 

 

Mr. Lynch’s various roles have included:

  • Lead Development Manager on multiple phases for multi-family clients as an extension of staff.

  • Advisor to newly formed co-development organization that sourced, provided the vision, and partnered with a global development company for a $500MM re-development

  • Sole Development Manager for the simultaneous development, construction, and operations of over 1,270 market rate apartment units at three project sites.

  • Advisor to faith-based organizations with land that partnered with for-profit developers to erect affordable and / or market-rate housing

  • Development lead and contact for Sales, Marketing, Construction, Condo Association Management, Equity’s Asset Manager, and Finance groups for 442 units developed in three different product types.

  • Adviser and Project Manager on final build-out of the last 500+ single family homes of a HOPE VI revitalization program. Utilization of TAD (TIF) financing, coordination with local PHA, and completion of infrastructure are key essential responsibilities under this engagement.

  • As Program Manager; negotiated debt, equity, and grant instruments for new mixed-income developments.

  • Development Manager for several redevelopment and repositioning projects

  • Program Manager for complex mixed-income developments financed with HOPE VI loans & grants, LIHTC, CDBG, and traditional equity.

Mr.Lynch’s career began in earnest at H.J. Russell and Company where he worked as both an estimator and an assistant project manager. He later transitioned to The Integral Group, doing a one year stint in construction management before joining the development group, focusing on mixed-income communities.

After spending two years at Julian LeCraw & Company, Mr. Lynch was hired away by Trammell Crow Residential (TCR) to run the project that he helped LeCraw and its partners sell to TCR. In addition to the $170 Million development, Mr. Lynch eventually became the lead development manager for three simultaneous new market-rate apartment deals totaling over $244 Million. In 2010, he took the helm of LDG Consulting, an advisory services firm focused on the design, construction, and real estate industries.

A native of West Palm Beach, FL., Mr. Lynch graduated from the University of Florida, earning a Bachelor of Design in Architecture with a minor in Business as well as Masters of Building Construction. Mr. Lynch also obtained a Master of Business Administration, concentration in Real Estate from Georgia State University.
