We’ve known most of the principals of Urban Realty Partners since 2001, but this is our first project together. For the Water Tower Apartments project in Greenville, South Carolina, LDG will provide pre-construction advisory services and be the owner’s rep during construction. This project is one block from industrial-inspired Hampton Station, also owned by Urban Realty Partners. Water Tower Apartments was designed by Johnston Design Group and will be constructed by Flournoy Construction Group.

MORE ABOUT THE PROJECT:

The proposed 233 dwelling residential community within Greenville’s Water Tower District expands the positive energy of Hampton Station to a 24/7 Live/Work/Play experience.

Located on the Orange Line of the Swamp Rabbit Trail, the Water Tower Apartments will provide residents with great bicycle connectivity to the nearby Swamp Rabbit Grocery, downtown Greenville and Furman University. The industrial character of the immediate surrounds provides the design cues, while the active lifestyle experience inspires the amenity package.

Well Building Challenge concepts are integrated throughout the design and made obvious with conveniently located dramatic stairs while elevators are discreetly tucked away. Outdoor spaces include a roof terrace overlooking the terrace and the Swamp Rabbit Trail that is connected to a chef’s kitchen for entertaining, and a dramatic oversized bridge that expands on the industrial aesthetic.

MAY 2024 UPDATE:

The first building in WaterTower is now open. First units have been turned over.
